New York City Mural Art Project is a year-long mural project with the NYC Department of Mental Health to destigmatize mental illness in our city. We worked alongside Venture House in Staten Island and PS22 to collectively create a mural on PS22. The project brought together students, mental health participants, and the public to create a mural that helps us understand mental wellness and how to embrace all people in our community.

Albright Knox Gallery and Buffalo Center for Arts and Technology brought me to Buffalo to work with local youth to discuss race relations in their community. The mural concept was developed collaboratively by the students and myself as we unpacked ideas about equality, equity, and visions of a just society. The mural was painted by all of us and the youth learned how to create a public art project relevant to their community.

A spray painting workshop in Rotterdam, Netherlands with HBE festival.

The University of Northern Colorado commissioned me to work with students and develop a mural with ideas collected from the community. They asked residents what the dreams are for their neighborhood and we collectively designed a mural with the participation of the students.

Wall Therapy invited me to Rochester, NY to paint a mural with local youth.

Ross Institute invited me to teach a stencil/ spray paint class with their students in 2018.
